I'm not the most confident sewer so this took me back to the basics with easy to follow instructions. The pattern was all readycut to size, thread included - so all you need to do is thread your machine up and put the iron on.
 

When I found out about the @patternprojectuk project, I was thrilled. They have the concept of making sewing accessible, with simple patterns and, above all, a pre-cut fabric with visible seam lines. This removes the sewing pattern step and any mistakes that can slip into it.

Really straightforward instructions - great for a beginner like me. Love the fabric. Good for size. Liked the 2 minutes sew-along. Even though I understood the instructions I still liked to watch these. Loved using the recycled thread. My 1st attempt at a boxed pleat and in turned out great.

The linen pieces are pre-cut and marked by laser so you know where to sew and fold, which really boggles my mind. They're also great if like me you're not that experienced a sewer, as you don't have to worry about the pattern and cutting! I added a wee fancy stitch around the neck facing, using multi-coloured overlooking thread.
